My favorite cake is a REALLY good white cake, like a good wedding cake with a true buttercream frosting.
I have a recipe for a chocolate sour cream cake with chocolate chips in it...soaked in chambourd and topped with chocolate ganache...I love it hot out of the oven with a glass of chocolate milk. I poke holes in it so the chambourd and ganache soaks in because I like a little bit of cake with my frosting! :)

Banana Cake with Coconut-pecan icing is my favorite. This cake was my grandmother's specialty. As many times as I helped her make it, my own was never as good as hers.

Oh my gosh, my favorite cake, hmm..how can I choose just one? :) I'd have to say my long time fav and typical "go to" cake is Chocolate Marble Cake. I just love the moist texture and the fab swirls of chocolate and yellow cake. It serves as the perfect go to cake for any occasion; it's easy to make, looks beautiful, and pleases both chocolate lovers and yellow cake fanatics. The best part for me is that I get to have my cake and eat it too! The cheers for Chocolate Marble Cake!!
