Walkers Shortbread Giveaway (Closed)

I recently did a review of Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread and I while I thought they were all so buttery and delicious, you didn't get to taste them. I thought it would be nice to have a giveaway and the gracious people at Walkers agreed to spread the buttery goodness! So that means one of you will win this tin of Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread.

This red tartan tin is filled to the brim 6 different types of shortbread. It includes over 28 ounces of Chocolate Chip Shortbread, Shortbread Fingers, Rounds, Triangles and Ovals as well as Butterscotch Shortbread Rings. After you're done consuming this assortment of shortbread you can reuse the tin. It's the gift that never ends :-)

Thank you Walkers for sponsoring this giveaway!

To enter this giveaway:

  1. Please take a moment to visit the Walkers website.
  2. Tell me which Walkers products you have tried or would like to try.
  3. Answer this question, "What is your favorite way to enjoy shortbread?"

This giveaway will end Monday, April 26th at 11:59 pm CST. One winner will be chosen at Random and revealed later next week. Please be sure I have a way of contacting you if you win.

Good luck!

Shortbread crusts are my favorite form of shortbread -- mm! I'm not sure if I've tried Walkers before, but I'd like to try their traditional shortbread.

I haven't tried any of theirs, but would love to. I'm sure I'd love the pure butter shortbread highlanders. Sounds like a good basic shortbread.

I try to save my goodies for evenings, so that's probably when we'd enjoy them.

I've been craving shorbread cookies ever since you reviewed these the other day! I would love to try the triangles, they just look fun and you could have fun dipping them in sauces. And I love their idea of the caramel nut bars, that sounds fabulous!
I think my favorite way to enjoy shortbread is smothered in chocolate!

I love Walkers - maybe too much! I've never tried the butterscotch rings, but I bet they're great!

I've never tried Walkers Cookies, but they sure do look good. I would try the traditional shortbread cookies, since I would like to put a little lemon curd on them. (That's what I've done with Lorna Doones.)

I've never had Walkers brand, but I love shortbread cookies! I just eat them plain, with a glass of milk on the side.

I've never had them, but I would love to try them straight out of the tin.

I can see the Shortbread Rounds, carefully placed in a dish of homemade ice cream. Yep, that's how I love my shortbreads... well, unless I make a shortbread pie crust!

I have not tried these YET but would love to try them, especially the Ginger Shortbread cookies OMG I love gingerbread !!!!

I love walkers shortbread cookies! I have only tried the regular shortbread and had no idea they had any other cookies! I eat them straight out of the box and gobble them up on my drive home from the grocery store. With tea and a good brit com is good too!

I would love to try the chocolate chip shortbread! And my favorite way to enjoy shortbread is with tea...yum!

I love their traditional shortbread. I treat myself to the little individual packs more often than I would care to admit. I would love to try the vanilla shortbread. (Although the Animal Shapes look like lots of fun and I have never seen them before.)

I love the walker shortbread. Walker cookies are some buttery and melt in your mouth. I would have to have an opportunity to try them all. Thanks!

I love good ole traditional shortbread by Walkers, but I have to admit, the fancy rounds are adorable.

My favorite way to eat it is to dunk them in ice cold milk.

Thanks for the opportunity to enter!!!

This may be one of those "Be careful what you wish for" Moments. As I love these cookies and could probably down a whole tin all by myself!!! So buttery good!!! I love the rounds and oddly enough would eat them with a diet pepsi. I am so weird!!!

I've never tried any of Walkers products before, but I would love to try their Almond Shortbread. I love almonds and shortbread, so the combination of both would be heavenly!

My favorite way to enjoy shortbread is with a glass of cold, organic skim milk. Something healthy with something unhealthy, hehe. :)

Yum shortbread, one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I have never tried Walkers shortbread, but hope to soon.
I love shortbread with a hot cup of green tea and think their Butterscotch Shortbread Rings would be perfect!!!!

I have only tried Walkers shortbread fingers. How sad, huh? I love them with hot chocolate!

Thank you for introducing me to the Walker's site. How cute are those Tower Bridge and London Bus boxes!? But I must tell you it's the WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY Cookies that are on my list! I may never buy Pepperidge Farms cookies again!

Dip the vanilla shortbread in some melted chocolate fondue-yum!

I used to LOVELOVELOVE the Walker's Chocolate-Covered Shortbread but it was always so hard to find. I don't think they make them anymore - I couldn't find them on their website. :(

I did however see the Lemon Heart Shortbreads and boy, do those look amazing!!!!

I know it sounds boring but I like to eat them right out of the package!!!! I usually can't wait and sometimes I'm eating them before I even make it home from the store. And of course, a tall glass of milk!

I love shortbread with hot English Breakfast tea for dipping. Who knew they had animal shaped shortbread! Very cute! I'll have to look for those at the store. :-)

I actually haven't tried any of them. I would like to try the rounds and the triangles (since you said they were crumbly and a little salty).

I enjoy shortbread on it's own or with my coffee. Yum!

All That's Left Are The Crumbs said...

I have only tried their traditional triangle-shaped shortbread. I went their website and I didn't realize how many different products they made so thanks for bringing it to my attention via this post. I would love to try their Oatcake Crackers and the Stem Ginger Cookies. I'll have to look and see if any of our stores carry them. My favorite way to enjoy the shortbread would be to have them with a nice hot cup of Earl Grey Tea and a good book or magazine to read.

I am a huge fan of Walker's Shortbread. Would love to try the Almond flavor, because I like just a hint of flavor to my shortbrea.

Also, I generally like to have tea with my shortbread, and I have a really great creamy oolong tea that I think would go well with the almond shortbread taste. :-)

Great post! Thanks for the review.

My husband has a huge tin of Walker's shortbread that he sometimes shares with me. My favorite are the fingers. Love those. Confession: sometimes we will sit in bed and read and eat shortbread cookies and it's worth the crumbs in the bed to be able to nibble away on this buttery treat!

I've tried and love many Walkers Shortbread Cookies, including fingers, rounds, and triangles; chocolate chip shortbread; and also their stem ginger cookies :) My favorite way to enjoy shortbread is straight, right out of the box with a glass of unsweetened iced tea or a hot mug of green or white tea. *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I like Walkers square ones that come two to a pack, and are available near the register of fancy stores.

I just made this recipe: http://smittenkitchen.com/2008/10/twice-baked-shortbread-other-lost-recipes/ and I loved it -- really flaky and delicious. Shortbread is one of my favorite cookies, because it's really finicky, but left simple, it's divine.

Kind of reads like a life lesson.

I have only tried Walkers shortbread triangles and the choc. chip shortbread. I love shortbread crusts in tarts and cheesecakes. I don't get to eat Walkers shortbread as much as I would like, but I do get one of the little mini packs every year in my christmas stocking. Still I like them best just by themselves. I like to take little nibbles off the cookies and let them melt in my mouth. Yum.
