I got an email yesterday from a reader from Ohio (hi Nina!) who entered My Favorite Pork Tenderloin into her county cooking competition.
She placed 1st place and received a blue ribbon--for my recipe! How awesome is that?
You can read about it HERE in the Springfield News-Sun.
Thanks Nina and congratulations on your win!

How cool for you to see one of your original recipes win a prize! That is quite an honor. I use pork tenderloin all the time and I've made it many ways-- Asian, French, BBQ...but inserting garlic cloves is pretty darn clever. I'll have to thaw out the one in my freezer and see if I can win a prize.
Congrats to both of you.
That is such a great honor! Congrats to you and the blue ribbon winner :)
I love it!!!
Oh Monica.. what a compliment to your amazing cooking!

How neat!! Congrats to both!! :)
How cool is that! Congrats to you and to her!
Wow Congratulations! You deserve a lot of ribbons for your fantastic recipes. I just discovered your Strawberry Romanoff recipe. I make crepes all of the time and am so excited for this topper. Do you think I could substitute the brandy for something else?
Hi Kasha!
Thanks for stopping by and for the compliments- I appreciate them. If you don't want to use brandy, just omit it and use a little vanilla (about 1/2 tsp) instead.
Hope you enjoy it. It would be fantastic on crepes- yum!
Congrats!!!!!!!
Congrats, that is sooooo coool!
Congrats! That recipe IS AWESOME, I can attest! :D
