- Michele Gross- Lemon Timer
- Suzanne from Our Story- Pear Timer
- Healthy & Homemade- Strawberry Timer
- Baking & Creating with Avril- Strawberry Timer
I know I said there would only be three winners, but I actually had 4 timers, since I purchased an extra sweet strawberry for myself. However, I already have a cute vintage tomato timer and he works just fine, so I decided to share. Hope you don't mind.
I still haven't read any blogs lately, not even those of my best-est friends, so don't think I'm singling anyone out. I read hundreds of blogs I'm I'm quite sure I'll be overwhelmed and panicked when I open up my Google Reader in a couple days.
As for a health update, the bronchitis turned to pneumonia, then turned viral. I've taken 3 rounds of antibiotics and am now on steroids. "I'm going to pump you up". ha ha! couldn't resist. I'm doing a little better, despite hacking up all 3 of my lungs. I thought I only had two, but clearly I'm special and had an extra :-)
Anyway, thank you all for your kind thoughts, prayers and good energy sent my way. I appreciate them so much. I may not be blog hopping til this weekend since all my free time is spent sleeping, though I'll be checking my email, so if you need to contact me you can. I promise to get your kitchen timers out to you as soon as I get your addresses. Congrats!

You just made my day! Minus the having a horrible viral infection =( This makes me very sad.
ReplyDeleteA couple of years ago I had strep throat that got really ugly fast and the urgent care doctors didn't do anything about it. 3 trips later + my throat swelling shut finally made them give me antibiotics. I'm glad you've gotten the medical attention you've needed and I pray you feel better soon <3 lots of love.
I certainly hope you are feeling better soon. A few years ago, I came down with bronchitis and pneumonia at the same time. It was probably one of the most painful illnesses I have ever had; every time I coughed, I felt like my lungs were going to implode. I'll be continuing to send prayers your way.
ReplyDeleteOh poor you! You must be really worn down. Take all the time you need to recuperate. Your friends will be here cheering you on and waiting for your return.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners of those cute little timers!
Best,
Bonnie

Oh, and GET WELL for pete's sake. You've gotten all the sympathy you're entitled to for now.
ReplyDeleteSharon
Well Sharon, that wasn't very nice! Didn't your momma always tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say, to say nothing at all?

I love those little sandwiches! I need to make them more often. Every time I visit here, I add about 20 recipes to my "must try" list. Your lemon curd icebox cheesecake is sitting in the refrigerator as I type. There was a lot of moaning and groaning when I told everyone it had to sit in the fridge for 6 hours. Hope no one dies of anticipation. :)
